Wellbeing Habit tracker

 This week I had to choose a bad habit I have and focus on correcting it.

I choose my drinking habits. I drink to much sugar so I started drinking 5 pints (at least) of water per day.

I successfully completed this challenge. next week ill focus on my social life.

SPNZ Refection 4

1. What safety management strategies did you use when playing non-stop cricket?
  • Standing back away from the batsman 
  • Watching where you walk (bees, prickles, Sticks)
  • looking at the ball at all time because it could fly out of nowhere.
  • Sunburn
  • dehydration
  • heatstroke

2. Explain what a risk is and give three examples of risks from non-stop cricket (Try and give one from each category).
A risk is something that could go wrong like Hit by the bat, Bee sting, prickles, stick though you foot, Hit by a ball

  • (EV) the ball hits a car and breaks the windshield.
  • (EQ) We could lose the ball
  • (P) heatstroke and pass out lands on bee gets stang and has an allergic reaction.


3. It was very hot during non-stop cricket the other day, how did you keep yourself safe during the hot weather? What more could you have done?
Stay in the shade, drink a lot of water, sunblock

TuPapa Trail walk

1) What level do you put yourself at for the Tupapa Trail walk and why?
Relational because I tried out all the challenges and did not give up the whole way.



2) How does this enhance one aspect of your well-being/Hauora

  • Being with Nature. (well-Being)
  • Running up the stairs. The pain in my legs. (Physical)
  • Talking to my friends with no technology. (Social) 
  • Getting up there and looking at the view reminded me of when my parents took me years ago. (Mental and emotional)
  • Doing this walk helped me to connect the Maori culture. (spiritual)
